I so well remember back in the dark ages when we had our very first zx-computer. My word we were so posh and yet here we were with this odd little bit of kit sat on the table in front of a screen. Little rubber keyboard with small icons and we had to almost write the programmes as we went along. I remember the E-learning consisted of a printed out sheet of odd code – basic in more ways than one! Our school education was far too early to include computing so my husband and I came to this subject like everyone else – via tomorrow’s world on tv! Our learning resources included just a photo copy of someone else’s ideas as to how to get the wall game to work. But I was hooked and have not looked back since!
