It can take quite a time to learn how each person responds to training. I know for instance that I work much better with the short sharp process of reading a small chunk of info, then questions would be easier for me to deal with. I could recall very accurately exact statements and my recall was sharpened because of the interest in the subject. Yet if I was to be given a huge text book with instructions to reach massive chunks, with no visible means of testing between, I would lose all interest and hope! Learning resources must have a variety of methods in the armoury to keep students interested and alert. No one method is going to please every wave of students in asubject and online educators need to be aware of the mass of new thinking in these areas. I still love the clicking one from a choice of 4 method myself but that’s probably terribly old hat now!
